This Privacy Policy explains how Welzin LLP (“Welzin”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards personal data when you visit this website, use our products (including Welzin Bootcamp and Startin), or engage us for AI and data services. We act as the data fiduciary for the personal data described here, and we process it in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”) and other applicable laws.
Data we collect
- Information you provide. Your name, work email, company, and the message you send when you contact us, book a strategy call, or sign up for a product.
- Account data. If you sign in to a Welzin product, the identifier tied to your magic-link sign-in and the progress, notes, and files you create in that product.
- Usage and device data. Standard log information such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring URLs, collected to keep the service secure and to understand how it is used.
How we use your data
We process personal data only for clear, specified purposes, including to:
- respond to your enquiries and provide the services or products you request;
- operate, maintain, secure, and improve our website and products;
- send service communications, and (with your consent) occasional updates you can opt out of at any time;
- comply with legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations.
Legal basis and consent
We rely on your consent, on the necessity of performing a contract or service you have requested, and on our legitimate need to run and protect the business. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time by contacting us, without affecting processing carried out before the withdrawal.
How we share data
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted processors who help us run the service (for example, hosting, authentication, and email-delivery providers), each bound to protect it and to use it only on our instructions, and where required by law or to protect our rights. Our products use Supabase for authentication and storage; data you create in a product is isolated to your account.
Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as needed to fulfil the purposes above or to meet legal obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised. You may ask us to delete your data at any time, subject to records we are required to retain.
Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level isolation in our products, to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to address any incident promptly.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act and applicable law, you have the right to:
- access and obtain a summary of the personal data we hold about you;
- request correction, completion, or updating of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- request erasure of your data where it is no longer required;
- withdraw consent, and nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity;
- raise a grievance with us and, if unresolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.

Our services are intended for businesses and professionals and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect the personal data of children without verifiable parental consent as required by law.
